Winter solitude on the Cape to Cape Track

Hikers Berneice Loch, Theresia Tina and Moira Treason on the Cape to Cape Track, a truly magical Margaret River experience.
The threesome braved a few patches of wind and rain. But they said the payoff was hours of solitude on the Cape to Cape Track and the backdrop of a wild and beautiful Indian Ocean.

“We struck some weather here and there but the days were essentially beautiful. The country itself was first and foremost absolutely beautiful,” Berneice says.

“The waves, the coast, and the beauty and the amazing colours of the sea are what stands out in my mind. The sea and the waves were coming in very hard but it was really very beautiful.”
