As our autumn hiking season kicks off this week, we’re reflecting on another incredible 12 months of guided Cape to Cape walks along the spectacular Cape to Cape Track with Cape to Cape Explorer Tours. It’s been packed with breathtaking coastal scenery, vibrant wildflowers, abundant wildlife and unforgettable moments shared with walkers from across Australia and around the world.
The Cape to Cape Track in Full Colour
We love hiking in autumn with it’s perfect sunny skies, lights wind and perfect temperatures for hiking. And spring didn’t disappoint either, when the Cape to Cape Track once again put on a dazzling display. From the granite headlands near Cape Naturaliste to the towering karri forests of Boranup, our guided Cape to Cape walk guests were treated to a kaleidoscope of blooms – from bright pink fairy orchids to coastal daisies, boronias and vivid red kangaroo paws. The air was alive with the scent of peppermint trees and the sound of the Indian Ocean rolling in below.
Encounters with Nature
Fauna was equally abundant this season. Humpback and southern right whales were seen breaching offshore, while ospreys nested on sea cliffs and lizards basked in the warming sun. Kangaroos, bandicoots and countless native birds kept our guided Cape to Cape walkers company along the track. Every day offered new encounters and new appreciation for this remarkable landscape.
The Guided Experience

Our expert local guides brought the track to life with stories of geology, ecology and culture, ensuring every step revealed something new.
