Sleep Under the Stars in Style
Your base for the trip is a beautifully furnished, comfortable bell tent set up at Surfpoint Resort — just a short stroll from Gnarabup Beach. Plush mattresses, cosy blankets, rugs and relaxed seating create the perfect place to unwind after each day’s adventures. You’ll also have access to SurfPoint’s excellent facilities including a commercial kitchen, lounge areas and a swimming pool.
On arrival, settle in and enjoy your complimentary bottle of Vasse Felix wine, then head down for a sunset swim, a beach walk, or a relaxed dinner at one of the region’s fantastic restaurants.
Explore the Best of Margaret River with Local Experts
Over two immersive days, your local guides will help you discover the landscapes, wildlife and stories that make the Margaret River region so special.
Day 2: Tracks, River and Local Storytelling
Wake to birdsong and enjoy a fresh continental breakfast hamper before setting off on a 1.5-hour guided walk from Rivermouth Beach to Cape Mentelle. Along the way, learn about the area’s geology, flora and fauna, rich cultural heritage and European history.
After morning tea, swap boots for paddles as you take to the water for a guided canoe experience on the peaceful Margaret River, followed by a scenic riverside lunch. The afternoon is yours to shop, explore or simply relax by the beach.
Day 3: Underground Wonders and Coastal Trails
Fuel up again with your breakfast hamper before heading out to explore a local limestone cave — part of the ancient Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge system. Then stretch your legs with a guided walk on a highlight section of the Cape to Cape Track, tailored to the day’s conditions. Enjoy morning tea on the go and a fresh lunch on the Track with sweeping coastal views.
Plenty of Time to Slow Down
This tour builds in the perfect balance between activity and relaxation. Afternoons and evenings are free to unwind at your own pace — cook in the shared kitchen, take a dip in the ocean, sip wine at sunset, or discover a new favourite restaurant in Margaret River or Gnarabup.
