Incredible experience! I can't say enough good things about this organization! Our point person , Gene, was fantastic-- always quick to respond to questions or concerns. From the beginning of our bookings until the last day of departure, he took great care of us. The accommodations at Surfpoint are one of the nicest "backpackers" hotels at which I've stayed. Great shared kitchen and comfy beds. My friends and I completed a four day Cape highlights trek itinerary. The Cape is gorgeous this time of year with autumn colors and hospitable weather. Admittedly, my friends and I had some difficulty completing the day's planned hikes on time because we are slow and stopped to take photos ALOT. This was easily remedied on day three by shortening our daily km plan-- which Gene and his helpful staff members Sophie and Glen helped us to sort out. This allowed us to enjoy a morning hike whilst still having time in the afternoon to enjoy other "off track" Margaret River attractions. Finally, the staff at Cape to Cape are first class. Sophie and Glen are simply just lovely people who want to help you make your time truly enjoyable. They have a great deal of local knowledge and really seem to enjoy what they do! If you're thinking of doing the C2C, just go ahead and book the trip--now. You won't regret it.

An Amazing Adventure What an absolutely amazing adventure. CCET definitely nailed all wants and needs on our group based guided tour. As a couple joining a tour of 11 we loved every minute from pickup in Perth to drop off. Our guides were knowledgeable, extremely helpful and fun. They obviously love what they do. The accommodation was great and, as an appreciator of food, I must send out a massive callout to the catering crew. The wonderful thing about this tour is it allowed us to simply walk and enjoy the beauty of the area. CCET took great care of the rest. RECOMMEND RECOMMEND RECOMMEND. Thanks CCET - Adrian and Shara.

Beautiful walk in a stunning part of the world Our group of four did the self guided 4 day highlight tour. We did upgrade our accommodation in Smiths beach to the Smiths Beach Resort which was wonderful , so the accomodation in Margaret River was a little less impressive after that. The daily instructions and pick ups / drops offs went pretty smoothly for us. The lunches were great and the dinners proved were ok . We were happy that we had a car so we could go out and sample some great restaurants in the area. Dont be fooled by the kms. It is harder than it seems as one is walking on sandy track for a lot of the time of it so it seems a lot longer / harder. We all found it a bit challenging even though we could walk the same amount of kms easily on firm track . Having said that , it was terrific and I highly recommend doing it ! If you have any issues , the staff are incredibly responsive and helpful.

Fabulous experience 10/10 We did a self guided walk over 6 days, so pretty tough, both in distance and terrain, averaging 20 km per day. The scenery and beaches are serenely beautiful. It was my first time in WA and I'm already planning to come back with more friends. The Cape to Cape team are happy, professional and incredibly accommodating in any situation. I One member of our group couldn't physically do the entire days walking, so Gene personally rang her and worked out a way to enable her to join the group for part of the walk each day. The food each day was fresh, healthy and yummy ???? 10/10 The guys from Cape to Cape love what they do and have a genuine passion to make your experience on the walk 10/10. Special shout out to Colin (Foxy?) and Lester who shuttled us around each day and shared they're local knowledge of the area, with great pride!

A few things to be aware of if booking I did the guided group option and met some wonderful people. I was impressed by the charisma and passion of the guides. However, I booked last minute without doing much research so would point out the following to anyone considering booking with Cape to Cape Explorer Tours, especially considering the expense of the trip: 1. Catering. I hadn't realised I would have to make my own breakfast each day (and wash and dry it up) which added a time pressure to the morning especially when of course the rest of the group are also using the kitchen with the same deadline. I would have preferred breakfast items to have been put out for us on the table and cleared away. As for the evening meal, on the nights you eat in this is delivered to you in a tupperware container which you need to microwave, and you need to queue for the microwaves as 20+ people are doing the same. I mistakenly expected a freshly cooked meal, especially having been told when booking that the food is really good. 2. Guides Although the guides are individually excellent I found having different guides each day meant we lacked continuity. It was a shame that guides did not always introduce themselves immediately or ask our names or brief us for the next day. I also don't think it was safe for me to be left to swim alone by one of them (although I appreciated the opportunity as I kept missing them.) It was good to have different themes to each day eg. geology, flora, fauna, history. 3. Staying in one place. When booking I thought it was an advantage not to have to pack my bag each day which would happen if you were staying in different hotels along the route. However, I didn't particularly enjoy spending about 30 mins (or longer) at the beginning and end of each day to get to the right place. Although the accommodation was fine I think I would have enjoyed seeing different hotels in the area. 4. The walk Don't underestimate how hard the walk is as the terrain is mostly sand, it is hot and you have to carry lots of water (I was carrying >4 litres each day, oral rehydration salts are a must.) I appreciated the options to shorten the days. All in all I had a great time but I wish I had known the above before choosing to book. There were a couple of hiccups with my pick up on arrival and departure but I guess I was unlucky. There were some nice surprises provided on the route which were well thought out and fun.

A great week and highly recommended A brilliant week despite searing heat some days. The country was parched after 6 months of no rain but still very beautiful. We had a great group and all the guides and support staff were terrific. A different guide each day gave new information and perspectives and each had their own speciality - history, ecology, plants, geology etc. The accommodation and food were excellent. Want to do it again in Spring. What better recommendation could there be!

Incredible experience - just do it Everything about my experience with Cape to Cape Explorers was absolutely incredible. Everyone I met was so friendly, generous with their time and local knowledge and went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing time. Surfpoint resort is really comfortable (cosy and comfortable tent, clean hot showers, clean and very well equipped kitchen) and has a great atmosphere - it felt like home immediately. The food was plentiful and really delicious. Everyone who gave me a lift was really interesting to chat to and went to a lot of trouble to accommodate you in the collections and drop offs. The track itself is absolutely stunning and far exceeded my expectations. I was originally thinking about doing the hike myself without support but I'm really pleased I went with Cape to Cape Explorers because there are very few shops/cafes/water supplies enroute and it would be hard work hiking on sand with a big pack. If you are on the fence just do it. I finished today and would start again tomorrow if I could!

A truly outstanding walk with Cape to Cape Explorer Tours The whole experience was amazing. Everything was so well organised and ran so smoothly: the efficient transport, the very comfortable accommodation, the really yummy food, etc, right down to organising a little birthday celebration for me. And the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The various guides led us superbly each day, with great enthusiasm, knowledge and concern for our wellbeing. And the walk itself is absolutely amazing: so much wildlife, beautiful flora, magical beaches with a range of blue and green colours of the water, and the never-ending stunning views - wow! I could not recommend Cape to Cape Explorer Tours more highly - they were simply outstanding.

Another fantastic tour with CCET Don't book with any other company - these guys are the best! This is my second trip with them and I have done a trip with another company. I met a great bunch of people when I did the Cape to Cape with CCET 2 years ago and the group I met have continued to be walking buddies. We decided to do the Walpole Wilderness Tour and once again, it was superb. Colin and Cath were great guides - so professional, organised and knowledgeable and like all the CCET guides, their knowledge comes from being local and having real love and care for the environment. In these days of poor customer service, Cape to Cape Explorer Tours shine like a beacon for caring about their customers be that food, accommodation, advice or whatever. They are brilliant and I will be using them again.
