Conditions are looking fantastic out on the Cape to Cape Track this spring, following a warm winter.
Members of the Cape to Cape Explorer Tours team made the most of a perfect sunny day recently, including Managing Director Gene Hardy and Operations Coordinator Saul Cresswell, getting out on the Track to prune their adopted 3.5km stretch.
“The Bob’s Hollow to Conto’s cliffs section is probably the most scenic stretch of the whole Track’, say Mr Hardy.
“It is always great to get out there in early spring and see what is flowering, plant growth rates and even what is cruising past in the ocean.”
“We saw a number of whales this day’, says Saul. “All humpbacks, they were either late heading north, or early coming back!”
Also joining the CCET staff maintaining the Track were a number of volunteer community members enjoying the great conditions.
Why not join CCET this spring for a guided or self guided Cape to Cape adventure?
