Cape to Cape Explorer Tours multitalented guides were busy wielding trimmers and loppers for their recent spring working bee on the Cape to Cape Track.
The length of the Track is maintained by adoptees of the Friends of the Cape to Cape Track volunteer management group.
Cape to Cape Explorer Tours have adopted the section of Track from Bob’s Hollow to Conto’s Campground and been maintaining it for the past four years.
“It’s always great to get out on the Track at this time of year following the rains and and see all the wildflowers starting to bloom’, says Cape to Cape Explorer Tour’s Drew McKenzie.
Regular track maintenance is important, particularly in the spring, as it keeps the path clear of spikey over growth and stray offshoots.
