A team effort on the Track, says Randall
Sharing stories to encourage connection and conservation
Possibly our most enthusiastic guide, Randall is a “frother” for all things ocean and nature-related. His childhood was spent between Geraldton, Perth and Margaret River in a family that celebrates nature, surfing, fishing, hiking and exploring. But the Margaret River region won out thanks to a “love of the coastline and its energy, raw rugged beauty, clean crisp air and the healing nature of the ocean”.
Randall has previously worked as a snowboarding guide in Canada and in UNESCO-listed Fremantle Prison. “I love taking people on the Cape to Cape to celebrate the environment, share stories and encourage conservation,” he says. “I’m absolutely in love with the wildlife. And I love being a part of a like-minded team.” Randall is also finishing a primary teaching Masters and is amped to “become a mentor for all the groms and get the next gen frothing”.

Nic, pictured above with her partner and Surfpoint maintenance manager Nick Campbell, takes amazing care of our hikers when they’re based our Cape to Cape Track accommodation hiking hub.
