We’re rapt to be nominated as a finalist in five different categories in the Margaret River region’s biggest tourism and business awards. That includes the categories Tourism Excellence, Environmental Excellence, Local Legends, Robust and Remarkable, and Access & Inclusion in the Margaret River Business Network’s 2023 Margaret River Region Business Awards.
Robust and remarkable in Margaret River ecotourism
Like many businesses, we’ve faced plenty of challenges in the past 12 months. But our committed and passionate team of guides, drivers, catering and accomodation staff have put in an amazing effort to deliver the highest-rated hiking, nature and regional experiences on the Cape to Cape and Bibbulmun tracks.
Environmental excellence at tourism and business awards
We are particularly stoked to make the cut as a finalist in the “Environmental Excellence” category for the Margaret River Business Network’s 2023 Business Awards. It’s an area we’ve worked hard on and are particularly passionate about.
To list just a few initiatives here at Cape to Cape Explorer Tours, our:
– catering team has phased out single use plastics wherever possible
– accommodation hub Surfpoint Resort uses only the safest cleaning products and practices
– drivers rescue an injured wildlife they come across
– guides constantly pick up marine debris washed up on the Cape to Cape Track’s beaches and contribute to endangered species monitoring databases
Tourism excellence a focus at Cape to Cape Explorer Tours
Tourism Excellence is another of our most cherished award nominations in the Margaret River Business Network’s 2023 Business Awards.
Here at Cape to Cape Explorer Tours, we reckon no-one does authentic and eco-conscious guided and self-guided experiences on Western Australia’s premier multi-day hiking trail – the Cape to Cape Track – better than us. You can hike self-guided or with our expert track guides. You’ll carry only a day pack, while we organise comfortable coastal accommodation, delicious catering prepared in-house using local produce, plus all transfers and logistics.
Cape to Cape hikes for all ability and fitness levels
Our fifth and final awards nomination is for Access and Inclusion, reflecting the fact that we’ve had hikers from 8 to 80 who have walked the Cape to Cape Track with us. And we offer a range of shorter, tailor-made day tours and self-guided multi-day hikes for those not quite up to walking every step of the 124km Cape to Cape Track.
