A group of female travel enthusiasts who journey together every year around Australia and the world including India and China continue to join us on the Cape to Cape Track.

The group of eight 50-60 somethings have been visiting the Cape to Cape Track since 2007.

With a theme name for each trip relative to which part of the Track they complete and this year they claimed their second last section as the glorious and bubbly ‘Hamelin Hikers’.

Other names have included the Dunsborough Dames, Cape Crusaders, Prevelly Prima Donna’s and the Redgate Ramblers.

Cape to Cape Explorer Tours provided Track transfers for the group but next year they are planning on a Guided Tour with Track Specialist Gene Hardy for their grand finale perhaps as the Lovely Leeuwin Ladies or their name to be set in the future but champagne at the end already confirmed.

This years organisers, Barbara, Shelley and Dorothy agreed that they were luxury walkers who threw in a massage, played cards and enjoyed a wine or too at the local wineries with their other fellow hikers Beth, Catherine, Leonie, Rachel and Willi.

The trio also said that there were not many parts that you could not say were beautiful and fabulous.
