Coast and forests fuel heart and soul
Rocks is where the action is for Andrew
Andrew (pictured above) has always loved being in the bush and down on the coast. That includes working on a cattle station and sleeping under the stars in the Kimberley, to diving for abalone and surfing secluded bays on the South Coast in Pibbulmun and Minang country. There isn’t a species in nature that doesn’t attract his attention.
When it came time for Andrew to put down roots, Margaret River was the obvious choice. He studied psychology and geography at University of WA. But now he reckons rocks are where the action is. He spent 13 years helping visitors understand the incredible geological timeline of the region’s stunning caves in his role as a cave manager. Now, he loves bringing this geological story to life as a Track guide. And helping hikers gain a richer understanding of the ground we walk on. Plus, he’s got a passion for wildflowers. A love for our local shorebirds. And a keen interest in freediving for the odd crayfish!
Passionate team sharing love of the Cape to Cape Track
Our team is ever-growing but we all have one thing in common. That’s a passion for the environment. And a love of sharing the wonders of the Margaret River region and the Cape to Cape Track with our visitors. Make sure you meet the rest of the team too. And we look forward to seeing you on the Track soon!
