We’re often asked if there are any half-day options on the Cape to Cape Track. For people who join our signature 8-Day Guided End-to-End adventure on Margaret River’s iconic 124km hiking trail – the answer is yes!

Hiking how you want on your Cape to Cape holiday

It’s your holiday. That means you are more than welcome to take a full rest day off during the seven straight days of hiking that it takes our guided groups to cover the 124kms of the Cape to Cape Track. You can either relax at your accommodation. Or enjoy the wineries of the Margaret River region. Maybe explore the beaches of Gnarabup. Or stroll the streets of Margaret River township.

Half-day options for hiking

If you’re booking onto any of our 8-Day Guided End-to-End tours, four of the seven hiking days can also include a half-day walking option. That usually means we’ll drop you in to meet the rest of the group at the morning tea stop, so you can rest in the morning but walk the rest of the day. Or you’ll be picked up after lunch, meaning you can relax instead of walking during the afternoon.

Daily distances that you are comfortable with

Half-day options are subject to vehicle access to that day’s section of the Cape to Cape Track. But if you feel like you need a rest and want to do a half-day option, we’ll do our very best to accommodate you. It means you can do the daily distances you’re comfortable with. And still complete as much of the Track as you can!
