We’re not out of the woods yet. But the good news is we’ve flattened the curve. And restrictions are now easing in Western Australia. We want to reassure everyone booked on a hike with us – or considering one – that Cape To Cape Explorer Tours is in a very strong position.

We’ve used the downtime to focus on staff training and recruitment. And we’ve put all our tours under the microscope to enhance and improve them. It means we’ll be better than ever when our doors open again!

The great news is internal borders in Western Australia will ease from Monday May 18. That allows people to travel from Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury and Albany to Margaret River.

To correspond with that, we’re opening up bookings for self-guided hikers from WA to experience the Cape to Cape Track with us from May 18 onwards. Click HERE to book right now! We’ll have extra hygiene and strict social distancing measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Guided tours scheduled to start in spring
Then from September, when spring arrives and the weather starts to warm up, we’re confident of returning to full operations with all of our guided hikes and day tours also restarting.

Bookings can be made now for these experiences! We anticipate by spring that the West Australian state border will re-open, allowing interstate hikers to fly into WA.

But our overseas visitors may have to wait a little longer for the international travel ban to lift (we’ll keep you posted). If for any reason the Covid-19 situation changes, rest assured you’ll get a full refund or free date change on any booking with us.

A stunning time to hike the Cape to Cape Track
Spring is perfect timing to spot many stunning varieties of orchids on the Cape to Cape Track. As well as to take in the mind-blowing wildflower season and humpback whale migration!

But if you just can’t wait any longer to visit Margaret River, our main hiking accommodation base at SurfPoint Resort is now open again. Rooms can be rented but with social distancing precautions still in place.
